Learn to surf in Agadir with a coach who knows every break.

Seven days, five people max, one lead coach. Simo picks the morning spot at Anza or Agadir Beach based on your level and that day's swell — then works on your technique between sets.

Sound like you?

This week is for people who care about getting better, not just getting wet.

  • You surf once a year and want to actually improve
  • Big camps with 15+ people feel like a waste of money
  • You want one coach who remembers your stance on day four

How coaching works

We keep the group small so the coaching stays personal.

Four steps, repeated daily on the Agadir coast. You get a structured week at Anza and Agadir Beach — not a surf-themed holiday where the coach disappears after day one.

Assess where you are

Session one is a level check — how you paddle, pop up, and pick waves today. No cookie-cutter intro for a mixed group.

Match the break to the forecast

Simo reads swell and tide overnight, then drives the group to whichever Agadir setup suits your level that morning.

Coach between sets

Feedback happens on the sand while the session is still fresh — plus video on select days when timing is the issue.

Build one skill at a time

The week has a sequence: safety, pop-ups, line choice, then green faces when the ocean cooperates. No random spot-hopping.

What you get each day

Coaching, spot choice, and a plan — every single session.

We surf the Agadir coastline — Anza, Agadir Beach, Banana Point — wherever the forecast and your level align. No fixed schedule, no tourist-trap peaks.

Personal feedback

Simo watches your pop-up, paddle position, and wave selection — not a tip shouted at twelve people at once.

The right break each morning

Tide, wind, and swell decide where we go. Beginners never end up at Anchor Point because it looks good on Instagram.

A week with a sequence

Days build on each other: safety first, then pop-ups, line choice, and green waves when conditions allow.

What people say after checkout

Real notes from past weeks. Ask us if you want to speak with someone who surfed here recently.

“With only five in the group, Simo caught my pop-up mistake on the second wave — not the second day.”

Tom · UK · Nov 2024

“They moved us off Anza reef when swell picked up. That honesty made me trust every call after that.”

Sofia · Portugal · Jan 2025

“Day five I was picking my own waves instead of waiting for luck. The between-set feedback is what changed it.”

Who runs your week

Simo coaches every session — not a roster, not a substitute.

Simo has led every Agadir Surf Club week since 2019. He reads the Atlantic forecast each evening, picks the morning break, and keeps groups at five so he can watch every takeoff. English, French, Arabic, and German on the sand.

Common questions

FAQ

Tap any question — we use the same answers in our booking emails.

What is Agadir Surf Club?

Agadir Surf Club is a boutique surf camp in Agadir, Morocco. Simo coaches a maximum of 5 guests per trip, with daily sessions for beginners and early intermediates. We have run these weeks since 2019.

Which beaches do you surf near Agadir?

Most weeks rotate between Anza (5 km north of the city), central Agadir Beach, Banana Point, and Devil's Rock. Simo picks the break each morning based on swell height, tide, and your group's level.

What is the best time of year to surf in Agadir?

October through March brings the steadiest Atlantic swell — typically 1–2 m most days. April and May are warmer and smaller, which suits first-timers who want long sessions on soft sand.

How do I reserve a week?

Fill in the booking form on our surf camp page or email hello@agadirsurfclub.com with your dates and experience level. We send back a written quote (from €330) and a swell outlook for your week before you commit.
